There are two choices of MLS listing search for realtor website. The first choice is using the third party provided IDX. It is paid service and most of IDX products are subscription-based service. As long as it is paid service, it is easy to design and develop as realtor wants.  It is not necessary to use IDX which is paid service for single realtor. For brokerage website, however, using paid-service is definitely worth it. 

The second option is using REVGB provided free MLS listing search.  We just use REVGB provided resource which is not available to customize design. Although we have to use the original design what REVGB provides, its search performance absolutely can deliver convenience to site visitors.

Realtor website design period

Except developing MLS listing search feature, a normal realtor website design requires mostly 2 to 3 weeks.  During the design period, realtor needs to get approved for accessing and using REVGB resource. And we develop what REVGB requests for MLS listing search. This process takes around 4 weeks. Therefore, total time to develop realtor website requires around 4 weeks.
